Bless the Lord, oh my soul
and all that is within me
elements evolving earth,
wind and fire, blood, sweat
and tears shed right here
down in the groove of the
grand triangle the blessed
trinity holy Mary have mercy
on me east of Eden and west
of the Moon falling endlessly
eternally swimming in seas
not so tranquil parting as we
flee to break free from the
yoke of mind and irons in
the fire as winds pass over
to fan the flames of burnt
offerings left behind by
holy Moses and the tribes
it’s all the same ashes
and dust but rust never
sleeps so a young man sang,
Bless the Lord, oh my soul
bless His holy name, Amen
