Monsters appear on the
scene as in Goya's dreams
in the sleep of reason
birds of appetite hover
over the masses huddled
by thought police enemies
of free minds corrupt cronies
and media hyenas barking
as Naked Nero strikes up
the tune on a broken fiddle
playing hey hey, my, my
and the cow took a leap
over the moon as sirens
of Titan blared on trumpets
made of gold a tune like
nearer my God to thee
give me liberty por que
sueno de la razon esos
monstrous y diablos preying
on those dulled by slumber
and creatures prowl in the
darkest hour right before
the dawn then the Sun also
rises and the King of Kings
flies in on the wings of a
dove saying all you need is
faith, hope and love so be
not afraid it was only
a bad dream awaken from
the sleep of reason
