Oh Mercy, Oh Grace

Oh mercy, oh grace,
Walking Spanish in the sun
being broken on the shoreline
the bum’s rush down to the sea

Oh mercy, oh grace,
the shadow of your smile
lingering forever in my mind
like grains of amber waves

Oh mercy, oh grace,
forgiven without merit or
so it seems don’t be deceived
heed the call of the wild

Oh mercy, oh grace
to be forgiven means forgiving
eternally and kindness is
the jewel in the lotus
