Saturn falls 

into the sea 

of night

Venus in tow

under a 

crescent moon 

as sirens call 

like the call 

of the wild

echoing 

across the

universe 

in the back 

of my mind 

singing sultry 

songs in 

double time 

double helix

double-blind

to all that is 

seen and unseen

dark matter

and manna

from heaven

lilies of the field

and electrons 

spinning under 

the starry starry sky
